SignalFitAI is an early-stage product developed by a small but focused team of AI-curious students and engineers, mentored by industry veterans with experience at leading tech companies (FAANG). Together, we’re exploring how to improve the real-world safety and quality of AI systems. Stay updated on our work and insights via SignalFitAI on LinkedIn
🌟 Why We’re Doing This
The idea was sparked during a student-led summer project, guided by a mentor with over a decade of experience working on evaluation systems at a leading AI company. That mentor helped build large-scale quality and safety pipelines for some of the world’s most widely used AI products.
Today, that same experience shapes SignalFitAI — not just as a tool, but as a philosophy: measurement should be realistic, safety should be grounded in actual usage, and vendors should be able to prove their value through results, not promises.
🧠 Real-World Perspective
Our advisor has contributed to public forums on AI safety, including a 2025 red-teaming workshop hosted at Carnegie Mellon University, where leading voices from Microsoft, MIT Lincoln Lab, and academic research institutions discussed best practices for GenAI evaluations and operationalizing trust.
Their experience spans:
- Search quality and ranking evaluations
- Red-teaming frameworks for generative models
- Continuous safety monitoring for LLM-powered systems
- Vendor benchmarking and policy alignment at scale
These lessons are directly informing how we design SignalFitAI: lightweight, measurable, and rooted in production needs — not theory.
